wrench on the crank bolt, turn the motor that way. or screwdriver on the flywheel through the starter hole.

I used a breaker bar on the crank bolt. Having a buddy turn it makes the job go so much quicker. TIP: tighten each bolt to just snug down plus half a turn then go through each one again and tighten it to spec. I didnt do this the first time and was surprised to see the tc off center. Did it the second time and I could see it pull in line. I marked the first bolt with bright red nail polish. TIP: dont let your wife find dirt in her bright red nail polish.

ok next question, I've been trying to sping the flexplate but the tc keeps spinning with it..I loosened up the motor to trans bolts it made it easier to spin but the tc still spins with it.

I hate to say it but is it a strong possibility the tc isn't seated all the way in and that's what's making it bind?..causing me to have to remove the motor once again?

If you seated the torque converter properly (two step downs) there should be about a 1/4" gap between the converter and the flexplate. It should NOT be bound up against it.
