you'll be alright, but youre still gonna have to rewire lots of body harness stuff to make it work unless you go with that ungodly expensive wiring harness they talk about in alot of places on here

Please answer this

I still haven't really understood if it's safely easy to swap a 3.4 with auto into my 3.0 with manual and wanting to
keep my manual. Please let me know what steps have to be takin there.

Safe, yes. i drove mine for 5 years that way. I would recommend getting a manual if you can, but only for simplicity's sake. The wiring is a tad more complicated for auto ecu in a manual truck.

Make sure you get the pigtail for the body harness. (Last plug on the ecu) from the donor, cause i had to solder directly to the pins on the last port to make it work.

In order to make it work, you just have to close the circuit for the prndl switch. (Make it think its always in park) otherwise it wont start.

I dont remember which wires need to be jumped for this, but it shouldn't be too hard to find this info with a bit of google foo.

Good luck. I had to let my yota go last year, but it was a beast. If you need any more help, let me know. I know the frustration of forum crawling dead forums to no avail.
