ended up building a square tube d-shaft,went to harbor freight and bought a receiver hitch and a receiver then cut the ball off the hitch. and cut the tubing off my drive-line and took a press and cone and pressed one end on each tubing until the fit perfectly on the drive-shaft end then welded it into place. i also bought a p/s relocation kit from wabfab and relocated my p/s box had to notch the core support but not to much since i have the body lift.

i get a lil vibration under 15mph and then it goes away until 60mph but im not complaining considering i only paid less then $45 and got a free mini led flash light and volt/ohm/current meter also.

Is it normal for SFA to camber out like that when turning? Just curious....never really noticed.

Been dd the truck 40-50miles every day and it works ggreat, I do have some death wobble everyonce in a while around 33mph so I don't really stay in tht speed range a lot haha, the only complaint I would have is the braking, I have noticed it doesn't brake the greatest, so I might end up upgrading the brakes and rotors

TwistedYota. Nice job on the SAS. I just got mine done about 2 weeks ago too. I enjoyed reading through your thread. Yoy seemed to hace cone accross the same BS problems that I had with my axle restoration. I really deep cleaned the whole thing too and painted it every nook n cranny lol. Well I had lots of time to kill so I did it like that. But dang dude. Your rig looks freekin awesome. Cant wait to see some trail flex pix. Check out the last few pages of my thread and you'll see my SAS clean up and install.

Edit: I also have a problem with that Death Wobble and it really scares the crap out of me when it happens. Only way to stop it on my rig is to slow down to about 10mph or pull over. And it will only wobble at approx 25-35mph like yours.

As for braking goes... why don't you upgrade to V6 Rotors, calipers and master cylinder. It fits perfectly with the front axle. You just need to trim the dust shield about 1/2" on top and bottom to fit the bigger calipers.

Heyy thanks, I plan on rebuilding a spare axle I have and probably trussing it, I'm just hoping tht it wiill go smoothly and won't have all the hicups this one had, but I feel it will be a lot easier the second time

I use to get it anytime I hit a big bump going over 30mph but I added a steering stabilizer and it helped a bit, like I said mine happens around 32mph and about 90% off the time it will only go away if I come to a close stop while the other 10% it will go away if a speed up to like 45-50mph. I won't to take it to an offroad shop to have the alignment checked and to be told what degree of shims I need.

I was thinking about tht or doing the fj rotor swap but until I get more cash its no real worry

PS: I did a pretty nice full 95 V6 brake upgrade (with slotted and drilled 95 V6 size new rotors/Black Zinc rotors and ceramic pads combo for 115$), 1" bore aisin from a yard newish, dual diaphragm booster and SW13B 95 calipers I restored from OEM kit. .... under 200$ total just yard diving and such. GREAT improvement!

I see you're using the same length shock im supposed to have in the front. How much lift did you do? what length do you have in the rear? 10"s?

I was told it was a 5in lift pack with a couple leafs swapped to make it about 3in, which matches with the 3in blocks I have to use until I do the chevys,
I think the are 10"s but I've never checked, right now I have like 2"of rear flex with the blocks stock spings and the blazer coils stuffed in their
