Can I use an FJ 40 front axle on my 94
I was wondering if the pumkin would match up on an FJ 40 front axle and my 94. I could get a steal of a deal for one to use on my sas. Or are they're any other things that would be differnt?

The diff is on the correct side, if that is what you are asking. You will have to check on the spring perch location, and move them if they don't match up. There may also be issues with steering. Look into it.

Hope you are looking at the disk brake axle
They do use a 9.5" R&P. 76 is first year for disks. 2/79 they went to larger birfields (same size as mini trucks). Wheel backspace has to be 3 1/2" to fit on without hitting tierod ends. (yours are about 4 1/2") Less choice for lockers
FJ60 axles have the same issues, just 3" wider
