Just want people to know that the deadline for reservation is:
July 2nd
They will allow us to park our stuff on the top parking lot, on sunday, so that we can have our run on sunday.
Ive been asked some questions about the Campgrounds, so Ill address here, in hopes to clear up confusion:
If you want to get a "cabin" at the campgrounds, you will have to call then directly.
If you want a "Motel/Hotel" in the area, you will have to call them..
If you want to check-in earlier than 1pm on Fri. you have to call the campsite.
If you want to stay an extra night, please call them.
their number is 719-395-8301
We are not saving any certain spots for anyone, we dont want to run into the issue of two people wanting the same spot.
Please dont take this as Im being rude or mean, I just didnt know that these questions would be an issue, as Ive never done this before, but Im more than willing to help out.
We want this to be as enjoyable as possible for everyone that attends.
EDIT:
we DO NOT want people calling the campgrounds, and making reservations, it causes to many problems,
PLEASE follow simple rules, this is already turning into a mess, just because a few people have to have a certain spot.
we are trying to keep a record of who is coming for a few reasons, space, food, runs, etc.
EDIT EDIT:
the campsite is Chalk Creek sorry it wasnt posted.
Again, PLEASE do not try calling the campsite, and reserving your spot on your own, it will really mess things up, not to mention the food, runs, and some of the supporters want a headcount.
EDIT, EDIT, EDIT:
Headcount:
If any of you plan on making your own reservation at some place other than the tentsite, please e-mail or PM alan directly, with this info.:
# of adults,
# of children,
make and model of vehicle.
We need to keep a count of vehicles for a few reasons, and we want to make this as easy on all involved, to make this a fun event for everyone.
Thanks for your help.
