Thumbs up Let's buy a 2013 Tacoma Reg Cab 4WD

Fixing to buy a 2013 Tacoma Reg Cab 4WD Auto. Sticker price $23,583.00 I have a 2010 Tacoma Reg Cab 2WD Auto. Been trying to sell it myself and may have it sold by the end of the month for $17,000.00 at the same time I am dealing with a dealer on a trade in on the new Tacoma. We are knocking around some figures. The first offer to me is $9,800.00 plus TTL and my truck. That won’t work for me. I know they have some money on the back end of the new truck. My truck is not the run of the mill truck. They come off the sticker $0 and gave me $13,785.00 for mine or less as I am sure they added some paper work/dealer fees in that figure. I am doing this on line. I have seen the salesman one time for a few sec.

What do you all think a good counter offer would be? I figure go low like they did. I hate buying vehicles from dealers. Usually after the first lie I tell them to f off. That’s why I am doing this through emails. I am thinking a counter offer at $6,000.00 plus TTL. I am not upside down on mine by any means.

Maybe wait a bit more towards the end or first of the year and see if they come up with some incentives.

My truck:
One owner.
21700 miles.
Carport kept.
Truck has seen no snow/salt or much rain.
I added:
Undercover.
DFWTF mats.
Bed mat.
Heavy duty Curt Hitch and Receiver.
AFE PRO DRY air filter.
Oil filter magnet.

My truck is in perfect condition inside and out and under.

One can see pics here. My truck looks like this all the time. http://s1122.photobucket.com/albums/...%20Auto%202WD/

I had them give me a work up on the offer.

$23,585.00 for the 2013 and allowed $13,885.00 for the trade.

So they came off the sticker price ZIP.

Being told by this dealer Oxmoor Toyota in Louisville, Ky That I cannot order my truck from the factory that I have to buy what's on the lot or do a dealer trade. Told me that Toyot does not do orders and want people to do dealer trades or buy what's on the lot.

I also had the Dealer in Murry Ky turn me down to sell me a truck because I wanted to factory order my truck. They even sent me a email telling me so. I know this is bull crap.

WTF!!!!!
