Personally, I do think you might be a little high on the price. Definitely in the ball park though. Mine didn't have any problem when I bought it in Nov 2011 with 180k on the clock and a purchase price of $4100.00. It is a rare 5speed V6 the only thing it didn't have was the rear locker. Owner was asking 5700.00 and I all but laughed when I saw the ad but called anyway...listing said it had a 3" lift...so I quizzed him while looking at it. I did see alot of PM not done but newer tires...that and the 5 speed was the only reason for offering $4k to start. Said his wife insisted on getting @ least 5k for it and I did laugh at this point. Showed him KBB & NADA perfect pricing and let him know my offer was indeed high and that his truck was anything but perfect. Perfect would've been $4500.00 so I feel our deal was fair. Anyhow, take a look at the two referenced sources websites and ask accordingly. To me an automatic trans are a dime a dozen with the 3rd Gen.
