A US Toyota dealer wouldn't get near a swap like that. The EPA would close them down for willful violation of the Clean Air Act.
However, that's the Hino engine coming soon in Tundra, Sequoia and maybe others.

Better swap in that new Tundra 10.5" rear end at the same time that engine goes in!
Might as well put a D60 in the front too at the same time if you want any reliability to the wheels!

K, i saw the owner of the Diesel FJC last week and he told me the police are holding his rig for evidence against the Guat's. And down here godness knows how long it will take for me to pull enough strings to see it. The write up is in the proccess, the owner is going to send it to me by email within the next 2 months.
Here is what i know:
06 Land Cruiser pick-up Solid front and rear axles
coil springs front and rear
custom made engine mounts(modified LC mounts)
custom drive shaft
6 speed manual
FJ TRD wheels
prototype snorkel(can't release the name because it is not for production until Toyota sells the FJC with diesel)
home made rock rails
home made rock solid front bumper same design as factory bumper!
Warn 10k winch
complete under body bolt on/off skid plate both for protection and aero dynamics
He has already replaced his driver's door from tree damage
i did get to test drive the 4.5L Twin Turbo D and when you floor it, nothing feels as smooth or through-you-back-in-your-seat powerful. and with the automatic disconnecting sway bars, it articulates very amazingly off road.
