X-Tra Cab Space

How much bigger is the T100 x-tra cab space compared to the 95.5-2004 Taco x-tra cab space. If it makes a difference, I'm talking only about 2WD models. I've seen specs, and the T100 seems to be just a tad bigger which is supprising. First hand knowledge would be great.

Thanks!!

The T-100 is larger than the Taco...so everything would naturally be bigger.

Exterior
Overall width is 75.2"
Overall length is 209.1"
Wheelbase is 121.8"
Bed length (inside) is 76.1"
Bed width, maximum/between wheel wells is 61.4"/49.2"

Interior dimensions are:
Head room front/rear: 39.6"/37.8"
Shoulder room front/rear: 62.4"/60.2"
Hip room front/rear: 59.4"/60.4"
Leg room front/rear: 42.9"/29.6"

Never been inside a Taco...but I know the T-100 is just bigger. Keep in mind that the Tundra grew up from the T-100...

Since the T is bigger, I naturally figured the x-cab would be bigger, but after I looked at the specs, it's only a small difference, supprisingly small. Thus, I'm posting here to get some real world insight. I'll find the specs I was looking at and post.

Thanks!!

Spec Diffences

Ok, here's the specs taken from Cars.com:
(Left column is T100)
=============================
Rear legroom 29.6 " 27.2 "
Rear headroom 37.8 " 35.5 "
Rear hiproom 60.4 " 52.6 "
Rear shoulder room 60.2 " 53.3 "

Front legroom 42.9 " 42.8 "
Front headroom 39.6 " 38.4 "
Front hiproom 59.4 " 54.6 "
Front shoulder room 62.4 " 54.1 "
=============================

Of course there are differences, I just expected more from the specs standpoint. I was hoping someone had first hand knowledge. Anyway, this is to help me decide between the T and Taco. Thanks for reading.

Keep in mind that the T-100 can seat up to 6 people in it...unless you have the bucket seats...then it's only 5.

Research a later model Tacoma, they never changed in width from 95.5-04 but cars.com and Edmunds list the 97 as considerably wider in front and rear hip room than the 02, so I believe their info is wrong for the older models in that respect.

I think I found a winner

Hey, thanks for all the help!

Well, looks like I need to let go my 22r and get a T now. That might be painful but hopefully the T will allow me to move on.
