T-100 mild lift
Put 2.5 inch ball joint spacers, Sway-away torsion bars, Rancho front shocks and steering stabilizer, SuperWinch locking hubs so the front wheels spin free , and 1 inch lift blocks for the rear. Front torsion bars are cranked and somewhat stiff, but this is a cost effective way to lift this truck.

Thanks for posting. I am looking to do the same to my 96. Were the BJ spacers hard to put it (any grinding or cutting needed)? I am looking to get some 1" ones from SDORI and hoping that, plus a little bit of cranking on the t-bars will let me clear 33s (33x10.5x15 to be exact). For the rear, I am looking at a 2" spring shackle lift. I'll certainly post something when I actually get to it...

FW-739, nice rig, I want to *level* mine and maybe go a little higher like yours.
Hard to tell from your pics but it looks like the front end is pointing up, higher
than the rear, is that the case?
Where did you get the BJ spacers?
I have read comments on this site that cranking the T-Bars results in some pretty harsh riding,
especially if you don't re-align the front wheels. How has the ride comfort
changed after cranking up yours and how many rotations did you crank them?

8Lug, the back end of the truck is just a little higher than the front, my driveway is not level. The ride is somewhat stiff from cranking the T bars, but I'm ok with it because I ran a Nissan Hardbody for 12 years with stiff T bars. The ball joint spacers are from SDORI San Diego Off Road Innavations. I dont remember how many turns the t bars got, I go by the distance from the top of the tire to bottom of fender. The ride had alot of bump steer, when the Rancho steering stabalizer was installed the ride got better. There are some lift kits that lift the truck and keep the T bars relaxed, but they are in the $1,000 range and alot of labor if you took it on yourself. I did take it to a Toyota dealer for the alignment, and it also needed an idler arm, it goes down the road very straight.

Mild lift
Okay, thank you for the information. I'm not sure which option I am going to try yet, mild lift like yours, or full blown lift system, money & time will determine my course.

hey boys, i am new here, and wondering, how hard is it to crank up tha T bars?? i have a 1996 T100, love it, its a haus, havent dont nothin really to it yet, but i havent been stuck, lookin for some MEAN mudholes this summer

yea man truck looks great ill hafta get a pic of mine up here i did the ball join spacers and cranked out the t bars but i put an add-a-leaf in instead of the blocks not really feelin the axle wrap ya know haha

Here are two more photo's of the T-100, I'm thinking of adding a 2 inch body lift and some Dick Cepek 16 inch DC-1's and some 275 tires. I might just put on the wheels and tires first and see how it is and then add the body lift if needed, it would be less work in that order.
