Vision X LED Rock Lights

http://www.visionxusa.com/Accent_Lig..._24/index.html

You can get them in one single color, or a multi colored one.
Eight pucks come to a set, and you get a remote control or you can use the in cab control for controlling them.

Been thinking about getting a set for awhile now, but some of the installs I have read on forums say the screws suck, plus you have to drill the frame, really do not want to do that at all.

I thought I saw in one of the videos I watched that the pucks had a magnetic base.
That would be the ideal mounting method, and I have an email inquiry to the company on that.

Anyone here rocking these lights?
They are available from Amazon and also Wil at Sierra Expeditions.

At 1:10 in the video below you can see the magnets on them, but maybe this guy put them on.
Might not be to hard to add them, glue one side to the base of the puck?

Here is a multi colored set installed on an FJ Cruiser.

Def ziptie them too at the cord base, and visually check the mounts every so often.

Some of the magnets out there are pretty strong.

I've seen a few sets of them and for the price, I'm not a fan of the kit. They just aren't very bright. That whole strobe to music and different color crap is for mall crawlers.

When I'm ready to add rock lights to my junk, I'm going to piece together a kit with bigger and brighter lights from superbrightleds.com.

Probably about 8 of these or something similar in white:

i seen them, figured they would be super cheap since they're small LED's.....not $120......

i agree with scuba, it'd be a whole lot more economical and brighter to piece together your own kit.

I'd like to add a couple of LED's floods with a remote/wireless switch to help me when I'm plowing. The old eyes get tired with the candles that come with the plow.
Like the idea that I can run fewer wires and perhaps light up the area when I'm walking to the truck.
If anybody has done something similar please share your wisdom.

Thanks
Mike
