Hey I here ya that's why I bought it cause you just can't see when backing up. there cool for just using the utility light I use them all the time when I'm loading my dump with sand, I've used them while at the campsite setting up. the thing I liked the best and what sold me was you just put in the receiver plug it in and you all set no wirering or drilling.

Got it. Thanks. How far do they stick-out from the back bumper? Do they get in the way or get knocked around?

Also, can you pop off/out that chrome thing and use the hitch?

Thanks

I just mounted a fog light to my bumper, then wired pos. and neg. into the reverse light wires, so now i dont have to fool with a switch, or new fuse, just put it in reverse

the switch on this one is for the utility light. they actually go on automatically in reverse.

That Back-Up Buddy thing is cool - I wish the bulbs were a little whiter though.

JCWhitney as the KC back-up light kit it's kind of pricey since you're paying for the KC name but they also have comparbly cheap models also.

White Night Reverse Lighting Systems

They even have an entire product line for Toyota's!.

Heck yes, these are sweet - look to be engineered and made extremely well, too.
They're cheaper than the Back-Up Buddy, too!

Yeah, I wish the output of the light was more white than yellow.
In those pics, they looked to have a yellowish tint to them.
