So is my 1993 2wd Limited slip or what...

Hi everyone, I recently got my truck, 93' 2wd 22re, and I spun in some dirt and figured it was limited slip. But I came across some threads that made me think none of them came this way. Is this fact??

Thanks!

I can't confirm it but I've never hear of any of the trucks being limited slip.

Do the two wheel drives use the 7.5 or 8 inch rear end?

run your vin number through a place like toyodiy.com or toyotapartszone.com most of the time that will tell you what you have. also there should be an axle code listing on one of the two id plates (engine bay and door areas). I cannot remember which one has the axle code. Look those axle codes up and assuming the diffs are factory and never touched it will also tell you what you have.

The code is LA11, I think it corresponds to a 3.42 diff. So that confirms it's a open diff. right?

2wds are 7.5" and the carrier is the same as the IFS front diff. i had a lockright in the rear of my 81 2wd. as far as from factory, i've never heard of LSD from the factory in 2wds

2WD, mini trucks only...

No 4Runners and T100's and such.

Both 2wd and 4wd 4Runners, Turbo's, V6's, T's and Pre's all had the 8".
