Removing the air vents?

Anyone know how to remove the air vents in a 87 pickup without breaking something or removing th dash?

You pretty much have to pull the dash pad or the part over the gauge cluster depending on which vent you want to remove. Its very easy though.

Not hard to do the dash comes apart very easily... and yes you have to do that to get the vents off... you start with the lower dash/glove box/the lower radio stack/the radio surround/ the binnacle (gauge cover)/the gauges/then finally the upper dash with the vents... takes a lot less time then it sounds... first time might take you up to 2 hrs but after that it will go quickly... (I can strip mine down now in just over 30 mins but I've done it a lot lol) just take you time the first time you try or you may break some thing and these parts are getting harder to find... forgot to tell you to remove the tabs on the heater controls first...
