How to get a pitman arm off without using a puller
hey guys, I'm trying to change my steering box which should really be a pretty easy task, with the exception of the fact that no auto parts stores where I live will sell or rent the right type of puller to get the pitman arm off the idler arm. I have a pitman arm puller but that doesn't help for the other side because the puller is way too big. Is there anything else that I can use to pry it off without damaging it?
