Header info?

Alright!
I seem to be having exhaust leaks popping up everywhere due to old pipes...And studs with threads that are frigging up...So im contemplating (Big word that means thinking about) buying a new header and magnaflow cat to go back on...

I was looking at scotty's website and im kinda leaning towards his header...

Does anyone have any experience with them personally?

Link below! Tell me what you think! :wabbit2:

Cant beat the price!

See, Ive personally talked with scotty on the phone and he's a good guy, know's exactly what he's talking about, and when i re-gear i plan on going with him because he doesn't treat you like "Just another customer".

Might sound cheesy, But oh well.

Im thinking i might give it a try.
HBYoter--Ive been looking around for a Doug thorley, but i cant seem to find them anywhere...But i LOVE the way yours sounds.

Baddest94--How's the sound on your lc?

Did either of you gain any noticable power after putting these on?

I like the way mine sounds with the flowmaster 40. If i could figure out how to get video or sound i would post it. Far as the power i dun my header, cam, and head all the same time but form the combination was a world of differance it went from 40-45 up hills to 55-60 depending on the hill lol. i still gota regear my truck

Yeah, i mean the stock manifolds just restrict the air flow a little to much for me...

Thats why im not going back with stock (Although it is SOOOOOO much cheaper)

Id rather have a nice shiny header Haha.

But your exactly right HBYoter, Id rather pay more for good and honest customer service.

Those 3 lc, addicted, and throley all look almost identical to each other im sure you will be happy with which ever you decide. And last note that addicted polished stainless looks bada** if i would have seen it before i got mine i would have spent the extra 30 lol

I will be installing one next week on a bone stock 87 4runner with a 22re. I will let you know what kind of "seat of the pants" feel I get. But, I will also be doing a complete 2.25" exhaust with it at the same time.

My experience with the long tube headers on a 22re is that if you do both the header and exhaust its literally like an extra half a gear at highway speeds. I current have a very strong running 22re 4runner that I bought for my 14yr old son so we could build it together. This is the first mod. Well, its the first of many. I also will have everything to build the rest sitting in my shop by next week as well.

This is the rig its going into:
