Have you thought about ones that will run even further down?
I'm talking about the way you have them now, but they come down even further. Not down so much that you can see them with the door closed. But so that they are just blocked when you shut the door.
On mine there are nicks and stuff even below where you have the sill protector.

those are pretty sweet, would be nice if the '4Runner' was the logo, but then that would infringe on some copyrights..

I'm not sure on price yet, but I think around $60.? Sound good?

Don't look like the 96-02 4Runner font.

Jason B, I agree with Alin10123 about having them come down further (following the curves) to cover the "second sill" that the 3rd gens. have. I think it could done using simple 90 deg. angles, or whatever they actually are. That whole area on my 4runner has the normal wear from feet that i would like to cover up as much as possible.

If it cant be changed, i will still buy this set, does this include the rear doors too? Thanks.

They are made to go on the highest portion of the door. This is how all sills are, ala, the factory sills on Infiniti, Mercedes, etc. The upper most portion. These are for the front two doors.

It's very hard to take pictures and get them to show up with the reflection. Some 20 shots and this finally came out. A few more uploaded to the site.

They look very nice, any way smaller ones can be made for the rear doors?

BTW, what do you use on your running boards to make the rubber look so clean and shiny, i've used a bunch of stuff but none work well.

Nothing for rears. There is a weld seam back there and it's not flat enough before stock sill curves up.

I use Meguiar's "High Gloss" Endurance on tires/all black trim. Great stuff. Also, "Forever Black" is another good one.

These look awesome! Is the logo cut into the steel, as you can see the stock paint behind it, or how is that done? Ill have to see what you mean about the weld, but couldnt you just make the back ones shorter so they dont cover the weld?

The letters are sandblasted in, ie, this is not a sticker or something that will wear off.

Rears can't be made.

hey,
Just an old propsmasters trick, try using a light spray and i mean light spray of arrid extra dy doederaqnt on them. It'll take the shadow off and leave them looking good for pics. Thats what we do for a lot of product shots in commercials.

That's a great idea. Too bad I already spent all that time taking those pics to get one decent.
