Mine's an '86 Arizona runner that was bought for $1000. Lower end of motor was tired and had rod knock. Rear shocks were shot, front rotors warped and radiator was a mess. Dropping the oil pan and replacing the rod bearings got me by for a while but eventually swapped out the motor for a motor w/120,000 miles out of a 1990 truck. I am slowly going to build a strong stock motor for later replacement and will be doing a front SAS at some point. Regardless of what else I have it's a keeper!

Ooh ooh, another excuse to post pics!
Day 1:
fast forward about 5 years, exploring John's Canyon in Utah
On the way out to the Mt Hood Rally in Oregon last month, the 4runner was working "sweep" duties again with an EMT riding shotgun

When I bought this runner, it was advertised for a parts truck or rock crawler. Now has 307,000 miles on it.
Bought this Runner for a parts truck for the above runner. Getting them ready for Christmas break to do some winter camping in both of them. Will get some better pics.

See the text formatting buttons above the box? There is a hyperlink button, and then near it, a button that looks like a yellow mountain image...click that and a popupbox appears. Paste your direct link in there and hit OK.
Same way you would post in a "non quick" reply I believe. Check out my signature for how to post pics. Photobucket now offers the "IMG" link which you can just copy and paste into your reply.
