What Front shocks should I get?

Since I just put skyjacker leaf springs and shocks on the rear I plan on adjusting the torsion bars to level my truck back out and planned on replacing the front shocks since I did the entire rear suspension. I was wondering what brands people use and being as I am unfamiliar with this suspension setup if I need to go extended on the front shocks as well when I make the adjustments.

Newbie here:

Heard good things about Bilsteins (either the 5100), but never had any... had an old set of Bilstein H.D.'s (the yellow tube) on my old 95' 4R, but at their age I replaced them with KYB Gas-A-Just's for a discount shock, and they performed fine...

The Real question: do you want stiff or not? I'm a fan of a nice stiff ride, keeps it solid on cornering and off road... so i went with KYB's Mono-Max shocks... they're REALLY stiff, but for the price, I feel like they compete with Rancho's RS5000 Series which is equally priced!

Happy hunting!

I don't mind stiff the rear end bounces plenty with the new shocks/springs I just don't want to shell out a good sum of money adjust my torsion bars and find out the shock is to short lol.

Cranking on torsion bars does not change the requirement on the shock length.
