straight pipe ?

Yeah my o2 sensor is about 5-6 inches in front of the cat drilled into the pipe.
So i could cut my cat out if i wanted to and it shouldn't affect much...
But i doubt im going to do all of that.

yea i hollowed mine out, didnt do much for performance, but it sounds way better. and i live in one of the few counties in ca that you only have to smog it once as long as you still own it.

well i took the exhaust from the cat back to the muffler off, couldnt get the cat completely off. then i drilled, chiseled, hammered and did whatever to get all the crap out of there. there was also a wire net around it and i just ripped that out with pliers. blew it clean with an air hose, then put it back on. sounds real good now. however, i recommend doing this AFTER you smog it. i didnt think about that and as a result, im putting a new cat on today to smog it. but im keeping the old cat to slap back on.

I pulled the cat, set it end up on a steel work table and put a punch through it with q hammer, easy as pie. Thank god those cats are ceramic, the platinum ones are a huge pain in the keister

i like the cherry bomb extreme. ive ran both dumped exhaust and tailpipes with tips out the back. i like the tips out the back because it doesnt drone as bad

^^ agree! I have a flowmaster 10 dumped right before the rear diff and it does have a drone to it. If I would have done it again I would probably pit a tailpipe.

dont take it off just put on a 40 series. there are cheap and will sound so much better and will keep the back pressure which will actually maintain the same amount of power whereas is you ha nothing it would be faster for a little bit until the engine blew.

exhaust cut out, run a turbo muffler after the y pipe and throw an electric cut off valve for performance and sound at the touch of a button.
