Ok to drive a short distance with broken shock mount? Shock selection advice

hey everyone,

have a 95 4runner with bj spacer in front landcruiser coils in the rear, my front passenger shock popped out some how, so i went to fix it and the bolt was so rusted it broke.. i was wondering if its bad to drive like that since i need to get to work in less ten 8 hours only going be driving 10-20 kms and then will replace it...

also what do you recommended going with the rancho shocks or blisten?

thanks a lot guys!!!

okay cool thanks alot!!

if i was to go with blistens I was debating going with the ones that are suppose to lift the truck 3-4 inches, do you know what i would have to do exactly?

or I could always go with the ranchos that lift like half an inch lol

i drove 300 miles with two blown shocks...couldn't tell a difference until i made a right turn at 15 mph...quite a bit of body roll but other than that no problems!

i plan on replacing mine with ranchos, haven't decided whether i want the 9000's or the 5000's

Hah, i just drove 30 mile round trip with both rear shocks removed. Bouncy as hell, but it isnt a prob. i think. Gotta replace my shocks, theyre good, its just they limit my rear travel.
