weekends are slow here, you only posted your other thread last night at 8pm. Give it time. Mods don't take kindly to people putting multiple threads up on the same topic. Especially from the same poster. Expect that one of the mods here will delete one or the other.

by 22R I am gonna assume here you have a carbed motor?

not that I know of, the ignition on the 22r vs the 22re are different. I am thinking either one of his relays are bad or the pickup coil is bad. If he downloads the FSM he will know how to propery troubleshoot for ignition problems instead of just replacing everything. Kinda like someone replacing all of their plug wires because one plug isn't firing.

Hey X, ....when you stopping by to work on my rig with me? . Swimming pool is warm, all the grub you can eat and plenty of Cold Negro Modelo, Sparkling Moscato and heck, you can pull yours in the garage and go to town! hahahaha. Just messin,.....but if you're ever in CA., look me up... and don't worry, I plan to have mine figured out by then. If I can't, I finally found someone who can, ...so, in the words of Bob Barker, ..."COME ON DOWNNNNNNNN!" HAHAHAHA.

Sorry, ...eh chemmmmmmmm, so, I wasn't wrong in bringing up the 'pick-up'? Which relays would you think? The Main wouldn't allow any cranking at all... right? Since he's got 'no spark', obviously it's starting, eh? lol...

MORE INFO, Homie! LOL

sorry about the double post. i'm not having any luck yet. tuned-up when i did the timing set & cover. just got back (1hr drive) from dead truck,i did ohm check on p-u coil(168.3 ohms) -coil- (primary .4+ ohms) - secondary 8.47 i found the other fuse box above kick panel, ign-good, eng-good. is there any way to test the igniter? there is a 2 wire relay bolted along with the igniter, is that part of the system? all & any help would be greatly appreciated!

Check the "Engine" fuse behind the kick panel on the driver's side. (you need to take a piece of plastic off by your left foot.)
