Lift kits for around $600?

I've been looking around a bit for a decent lift kit for my 95.5 Tacoma. First kits I found were skyjacker and revtek, while the skyjacker kit had mostly positive reviews on their website and the revtek didnt really have any, some of the people I talked to about skyjacker said they were incredibly stiff and that I may need additional parts (i.e. camber shims, diff drops, things like that.) While I somewhat expected needing some other parts other than just the lift kit, I'd like to see what some of you had to say. Now, Im only looking for a 3" lift. Nothing less, nothing more. I just want to put some bigger wheels/tires on my truck (33x12.5), and since its not much more than just a pavement pounder, I'm not really worried about trail performance. I am however concerned about comfort, I dont know what to expect with lift kits in my price range, as the kit on my dad tacoma is amazingly comfortable but it costs upwards of $1k. I also looked into rough country, toytec and procomp (the kit they offer isnt recommended for extra cab 4 cylinders though) as one of my friends said those were pretty good. Theyre still in my price range but again, Id like more opinions. As the title says, my budget is around $600 and I dont really want to spend much more as I have other things I need to save money for. So any suggestions and information about what I can expect from most lift kits would be greatly appreciated. Also, why would some kits be unsuitable for my truck? While I only saw that on the procomp lift kit, it does make me wonder about most others.

I would see if Trail Gear or All-pro offered a 3" spacer kit.

Trail gear has this complete kit. Ill look into the shocks to see how good those are. My main issue is just comfort and obviously making sure I dont ruin my suspension.

Bilstein shocks are good. It should ride like factory in the front, but may be a tad stiff in the rear since you're adding a leaf to lift the rear. But short of spending the money on new rear springs, an Add-a-leaf (AAL) is about the best you can do. Don't even consider adding a rear block lift...

This kit looks pretty nice. Its actually got coils for the front instead of just spacers.
