HELP! Drained transmission
I did something really dumb today, while attempting first oil change on my 2003 4Runner. I accidently drained the transmission instead of the oil pan.
Fortunately I realized what I did prior to running the engine. That being said, I re-filled the Transmission with the specified fluid and it seems to be Ok for the 50ft that I drove it, to get it back onto my driveway.
Question: Is that all there is to it... just drain and refill the transmission as required to the proper fill level? Or is there a more complicated procedure to this? I ask becuase I once heard that for a transmision flush procedure, the fluid is Simultaneously drained and filled... presumably so that no air is entered into the system.
Thanks

Thats all thats required, put the drain plug back in and refill it, drive it down the street and back and recheck the fluid level and add a little more ATF if needed and your done.
