exhaust manifold leak 1998 4runner
hey there i had a compression test today on my 4runner
CYLINDER 1-210, CYLINDER 2-210, CYLINDER 3-200, CYLINDER 4-200 PSI
anyways i was wondering if that was alright? As well the mechanic mentioned to me that he heard a tick coming from exhaust manifold. Suspect leak? Is this fairly urgent? I will be heading up north in a 3 weeks to work on the pipeline. I just don't wanna risk damaging my new baby. I WILL BE IN TEMPERATURES BETWEEN -50 AND + 10 If that makes any difference. (Canadian in Celsius)

I don't know the 2.7, but from my experience on the 22r, I have had the exhaust nut to back off and cause a leak. If this is the case, try finding a nut and bolt shop and see if you can find some nuts that are crimped, kind of like a locking nut. A friend told me of this and it solved my exhaust leaks. Welcome to Yotatech.
Looking at the left and right of the nut, you can see they are crimped a little bit.
