Cant find detailed EGR removal guide.

I have serched for about an hour now and have come across this same question but no answers. Plenty of oppions and alot of good reading but still yet no good play by play guides to removeing the EGR in a 22re. I know it is supper basic but is there any one that can point me in the right direction please.

do you have a pic of your engine? that would help a bit.
basically, take everything off egr-related up to the block. then make some covers out of a soda can and use the egr plates and bolts to hold them in place.

the triangle plate goes on the side of the head where the egr was removed from.

LC Engineering make a block off kit for removing the EGR. Its easy to do, just remove the EGR and install the block off plates in it place and plug the vacuum line.

I traced the egr outline onto a steel electrical cover plate then cut it out with an angle grinder. After that just used the original bolts to screw it on to the head. Assuming that you're using an after market carb, then just remove most of the vacuum lines and plug the outlets
