baja style suspension

baja style suspension
i bought a 79 toyota 4x4 pickup i want to put a baja truck style suspension under it but cant find anything any suggestions any advice is appreiciated

Yeah, alot of people run solid axle Baja trucks. I'd be interested if anyone has info on this. I don't run Baja, but I do some high speed trail running, I imagine this style suspension would work quite well here.

theres a guy on youtube that builds a link front end and builds it so strong that im sure u could do what u want with how he built it. but instead of leafs or coils id go to coil overs if i was u.

99% of long travel kits are built for IFS systems. a long arm, link kit with coilovers or a set of pretty soft flexible leafs with GOOD shocks will be what you want.
its all going to come down to how much you want to spend and how fast you want to go.
just a warning, DR is not like this place and is full of smartass people (im on there too). be prepared if you do go over there.
