94 22RE misfire/sputter
Hey guys I have 94 pickup, when I get going up to speed in say, 3rd, 4th and 5th, as soon as I give it any real amount of gas, I'll have a misfire. That leads me to believe its fuel related. I have newer plugs/wires/cap in the truck and it seems to idle fine.
My buddy thinks its a fuel filter, and I'm wondering if that could be it? Or does anyone have any other ideas at what it could be?
Thanks for any help/advice.

The truck has been running fine for a year or so after I did the tune up. But it was just the cap, if I recall correctly. No check engine light either.

Im having the same problem. I let off the gas then then give it gas again and it cuts out and sputters and then goes away. I was thinking it was because i have a bad exhaust leak at the front flange and maybe theres air getting in and making the O2 not read correctly.

Not super bad, at least I don't think. The leak is up front somewhere, haven't pin pointed it yet. I have an appointment with the exhaust shop on monday.
I forgot to menton that I also have a leaky gas tank, is there any chance I could be loosing fuel pressure and that's causing the issue? The tank leaked for quite a while before this happened, that's why I never even thought of it. Regardless I have a new take to swap in, just waiting for it to be warmer than -4 outside.
Also, my buddy thinks it might be out of time. He's got the gun and we're going to try that too.
