20R M/T Bellhousing Bolt Problem

The plan was to just pull my engine, but one bolt on the bellhousing was making everything way too difficult.. the lowest passenger side bolt (see pic). Im not sure if the previous owner has installed this backwards, or what...But either way I can't figure out how to get it out, or rather how it even was installed. There isn't enough room for a socket (ground down or not), and the location it is doesn't allow for an open end wrench either, although in the picture it kinda looks like it does...I assure you it doesn't. The only thing I can think of is to cut the head off, or maybe ground down the case around. Any other people have this problem, or have ideas for a solution? Thanks...Dan
