Tire pressure sensor/aftermarket rims
So I'm reading that our trucks have tire pressure sensors... does switching to aftermarket rims have any affect this? Just curious.

The only thing that I can see is that the tire pressure light will stay on all the time if you don't put the sensor in the new rims. I'm not sure that the sensor will fit in aftermarket rims. I don't see why they wouldn't fit.

If you don't swap the sensor from the stock wheels to the new wheels
you will get a TPMS light on your dash (tire pressure monitoring system).
When I upgraded wheels and tires, I simply unplugged the TPMS ECU, it's behind the radio.
Do a search for Disabling TPMS ECU here or on Tundrasolutions.com/forums/tacoma.
It takes about 45 minutes to complete this mod.
