What's my gear ratio?

I have and 87 4Runner Turbo and am having my ECM for my LS1 programmed. What is the ratio in the dif there?

Should be 4.30:1. But you should check the axle code to see what it says. It should be G284. If it's not, I'd rather you tried to find out through research on your own part what the gear ratio is. Axle code info is posted up all over place. Meaning you should have no problem finding an axle code chart. I could post the chart up here. But I've posted it in too many threads as it is.

And don't be too surprised if this thread gets deleted. As this question is asked daily. Often multiple times a day. Making it entirely redundant.

I found a lot but not regarding the turbo. Where do I find the code?

the way i do it, cause sometime the axle may not be the original, is jack the rear tires off the ground and put it in neutral. Works better with a freind, but have your freind rotate a tire exactly one rotation and count how many times the driveshaft rotates, just over 4 times is 4:10, almost 4 and a half should be 4:30 and so on. Thats just the way I do it but I believe it doesnt work on limited slip

I pulled that information from the 1987 4Runner sales brochure. All turbo 4Runners were supposed to have 4.30s. The rest had 4.10s.
