Is there such thing as a "quiet" hi-flow muffler?

Personally I dont think a vette muffler would be all that good on a toy. Its designed for a 6L V-8 engine. Its too large for our little engines. You need a muffler made for your engine size and flow, slapping a 2.25" or 2.5" pipe on a larger muffler does nothing for the internal size of it, which on a quality muffler is matched to the inlet/outlet size.

Anyone have any experience with the Supertrapp type muffles? They seem to be popular with the SCCA crowd. I was thinking of using one as a secondary muffler for additional silencing.
