I've only heard of 2 sizes. Like I said though, I have no way of verifying that. The 7M-GE is the same size for all I know.

I would think it would make the biggest impact at wide open throttle, only because of the immediate availability of air volume. So that should net you a snappier throttle response. I am just talking out of my... i have no real proof.

If you haven't modified it from stock significantly. You won't gain much, if anything. Any power gains from increased air flow would likely only be in the mid-high rpm range anyways even if you did modify it.
Airflow vs HP
Engine airflow can be directly related to hp developed. The volumetric efficiency of an engine is always the highest at its torque peak. Above this rpm, pumping efficiency drops off.
