Power Steering not working anymore
So, I got in the car this morning and turned it on like usual and went to turn the car to go up the driveway and found the steering was really heavy. I opened the power steering fluid cap and it was still full of power steering fluid but it was like the car had no power steering installed. It didn't dump any fluid out or anything so I'm lost for what it could be Anyone else had this problem or have an idea on how I would fix it.

I hope you realize, and are just being lazy, that the early toyotas used Automatic Transmission fluid in their PS systems, not PS fluid. Why? I dunno. Maybe to combine types of fluids used, thus eliminating one. I wasn't consulted by Toyota engineers when they designed the system.
Anywho, you said it was full of PS fluid. I hope not. If it is, you need to replace it all with AT fluid. Normally Dexron Type III is preferred.
Just wanted to toss that out there.
