Collected my 4Runner after 9 Months of Mechanical, Chassis and Bodywork Restoration.. Sure it might not look "finished", but Paint will have to wait until the Coffers have been refilled..!

Just picked up this 1st Gen 4Runner.
Has 275K miles and runs strong.
So far I have just done the ZUK mod in the rear to fix the saggy springs.
But instead of Suzuki coils I used some 350Z Tein lowering springs I had sitting around.
Worked great and got me about 5in of rear lift. Rides great coupled with new shocks.
350Z Tein Lowering springs worked like a charm.
Before and after rear lift
Next mods are 32in Kumho AT tires, Rancho Front Shocks, some LC engineering power mods and hit them trails.
I want to keep it relatively stock and just go enjoy the local trails and camp with my dogs.
Eventually go BIG and SAS with 40in tires.
Dogs loving the back seat and views of the Bridger mountains.

This is one of my first posts, so let me know if I did this right. Did some body and paint work on my 88 4WD PU this fall. Used Raptor liner and even got creative with stencils.
Took the raptor liner offroad to test it out. 88PU 4WD 22RE

Slowly making my way through the thread. Some awesome trucks and a fantastic source of inspiration for my slow restoration of a DD KZN130.
First is a photo of the toy during first proper inspection. I flew to london and drove it 600 miles with no test drive!
Last few are how she sits now and some playing around as soon as I got some mud tyres. Lucky enough to have access to some amazing tracks up north but mostly it gets me to work come rain or shine and always puts a smile on my face.

Finally got a front bumper on and some bigger tires.
Went with Kumho AT51 32x11.5x15
Also got my custom plate mounted up
Then went up in the woods for some mild snow wheeling and shooting some guns.
Also found a roof rack for cheap and got it mounted up. Its a nice and long rack that fits the entire topper length.
Almost got stuck in the sand pile.

Went for a couple lil trail trips recently.
Took my boss in his Rivian up a local trail to see how far we could make it.
Rivian did absolutely insanely well.
Then went up another local road to a campground that is open year round.
Ran into a random Jeep guy up there and did some mild wheeling and shooting guns.
The Jeeper was actually deaf so it was fun getting to know him and show him some fun snow spots.
