I'll guess I'll be giving him a call then here soon and having a chat. I didn't know that you could get all of them without doing the DT lift. Seems like everytime I come on this message board I'm learning something new. I don't think $500 is to bad of a deal IMO. Quality and Protection.

raising your engine and transmission/transfer case. say you have a 2" bodylift, then you can raise your drivetrain 2".

Another data point for Budbuilt. Got the first 1st gen 4Cyl belly from him. Between it and the skid, they've had quite a few intimate encounters with large rocks

Does anyone know if you can run the Sonoran Steel IFS Truss with the Budbuilt Skid/Belly/Crossmember?

Yeah, my shipping was pretty cheap since I'm just a state away from him.

I got my Budbuilt skid and crossmember from him direct, for a little over $200 shipped.

I also run the SS IFS truss, so I'll just make a skid from the 3/16 plate I have and call it good.

Bud's stuff is top quality, and service is too. Sonoran Steel is in the same category as Bud when it comes to this as well.

That's an awsome jump for ground clearance alone then add inthe protection and BAM your ready to go.

BTW ~ What's the 3/4" Drivetrain Lift? Is tat something that the crossmember does for you annyways or what needs to be done to make it fit?

Anyone run an allprofont bumper with the bud built front skid, they bolt to the same holes and was wondering if i could just sandwich the two together?

Hey Rocket...did you ever have anything covering the part of the transfercase that hangs down?? I have the same crossmember, and I am planning to have some sort of skid made for that area.

Here is mine..Thanks to Cebby!!--it was the prototype from Budbuilt for the V6/ auto

I actually lost 1" of ground clearance, but only right under the tcase - gained over an inch everywhere else and WAY better protected.

Rocket - did you need a bodylift for the 3/4" drivetrain lift? I would love to do that when I do a crawler and need to replace the crossmember anyways...

2nd gen budbuilt install question

old post! but a good post...the situation is for a budbuilt front IFS skid, sonoran IFS truss and budbuilt xmember and xmember skid (not bellypan). I'm having trouble figuring out how to install the xmember skidplate...I'm wondering if any 2nd gen owner has this setup, if so could you send me a pic showing how you got the IFS front skid, xmember skid and sonoran truss to match up? Bud sent me a spacer and I know I need to use it but not quite sure how.
