All I need is a link to that thread that listed all the Supra AFM Part#'s and what the pinouts are.

I have been searching for about 20 minutes now and thought that someone may have it.

Can someone help a brutha out!?

This is for the '82 Supra. It is plug and play with a cone type filter and a little fitment in the spot where your current airbox is.

I have that info, what I need is the pinout info that someone put together. They had listed all the pinouts with the corresponding AFM part numbers.

I ran across the thread about 6 Months ago.

The AFM from a mid 80`s cressida will also work and has the same part number as the supra AFM, 22250-43110. Im running this AFM on my 86 4Runner and its plug and play.

Word of caution: AFAIK there are no cross-references available to confirm the information found therein regarding the pinouts of the VAFMs not used on the 22R-E or 3VZ-E. The accuracy of the other VAFM pinouts listed as being used on other engines is therefore unproven. And the pinout listed for the 22R-(T)E is mislabeled. Though it appears to be mostly accurate in other respects. Of particular note the #5 pin being labeled ECM (+8v), should technically be labeled Vc (+12-14v or battery voltage). Though the actual voltage measured at Vc-E2 should range from 6-10 volts, according to the FSMs. I assume the voltage measured as such is being affected by the resistance in the Vc-E2 circuit. And presumably the voltage measured at Vc-E1 would then be equivalent to the battery voltage.

The 22R-E VAFM pinout from the 93 and/or 95 FSM is as follows:

1= Fc
2= E1
3= E2
4= VB
5= Vc
6= Vs
7= THA

Here's what I'm trying to do. I have an AFM off an 83 Supra and instead of switching out the electronics, I would like to just switch the wiring.

This phantom thread that I'm looking for (kicking self for not subscribing to it) had the information I need to do that.

PS, JamesD, good job and all. But where's your proof of any/all of that(as in, where's the official documentation of those supposed pinouts)? And here's a hint...brush up on your knowledge of how a Toyota VAFM functions. NO 8 volt reference!!! I can see where you made that mistake(what's the middle number between 6 & 10?)...but trust me...THAT'S WRONG!!! Read here.
