It's much less of a concern inside the cab, and not that big a deal on a stereo or other non-critical system. But I'd take extra care with any wire used in a kill switch because it is by definition a critical wire.

I got my kill switch installed last night.. everything is hidden and tucked away so much so that you cant see it, only feel it if you know where it is. the truck will turn over but no spark = no go. it was a pretty simple install.. I wont post what wire i tapped but if you want to PM me i'll share the info

i will

around here, all the people who want my truck want to pay twice what it's worth (mexicans, mostly). those who want to steal it can't drive stick. but, a neat idea as for the switch would be a reed switch hidden somewhere, needing a magnet to close. imo
