Little coolant leak on skid plate... *sigh*
Howdy all, now that i have a little time to take care of my 3vze powered 89 4runner i've got a few questions.
First and most annoying, i see a little green mixed into the caked oil on my skid plate. Almost dead center, slightly to the passenger side. I have also been losing coolant, and as far as i know my head gaskets are intact (knock on wood.) Frantically i looked for coolant lines to replace in that area and to my dismay all i can see is the water pump. Can you guys think of any easy way to deal with this? or am i in for the haul?
My truck has always leaked oil like a sieve on the passenger side of the engine, about 1 quart a month with regular driving. If i have to do the water pump should i attempt the head gaskets/cam seals which i suspect to be the source of my woes? Are there other more likely/easy suspects i can tackle?
Any other suggestions for things to replace (the truck is about to pass 250k)/ ideas on how to avoid doing a ton of work are greatly appreciated.

At operating temp, have someone rev the engine & watch that area with the skid plate removed. There's a weep hole on the water pump that will drip when the seal is going bad.

Another place it could be leaking is the upper radiator hose attachment point... (thing in the middle of the pic)... Mine leaks just a TINY bit off the skidplate from not using enough RTV when I did my water pump. (I'm too lazy to drain the radiator to fix it though)

Sorry for the long delay, i was out of town. I took rabbits advice and got the car real hot and stuck my head under while someone reved it. Nothing. I have some pretty excessive oil leaks out the cam seals and valve covers and i only saw drops of oil. Can someone point out the location of the weep hole on the water pump? The leak i have is nearly centered but more on the passenger side. From my searching the weep hole is more on the driver side? at least that is what i found searching. I still cant find the actual hole on my truck.
