Leaking master cylinder -- best replacement?
My '87 4Runner has a leaking master brake cylinder (pictured) and the plan is to replace it. The question is: with what?
This truck has never had what I'd call great braking, and I'm wondering if there's a master cylinder choice that'd be an improvement from what it is.
Vehicle is largely stock, but with Cooper At3 30x9.5R15 tires.
Recommendations?

I just replaced mine but it was internally shot and leaking significantly. I just went back with a new oem style cardone unit off ebay. It's amazing how much it improved the braking. Everything in the brake system has now been replaced except one caliper and the lspv.
BTW...noticed you've got crusie...LUCKY! In my best napoleon dynamite voice
