I just looked at the 2014 tacoma at dealership.
Built in Texas Only the Engine is from Japan all the rest of the steel and parts are from the U.S. and Canada. Weird.

My '94 pickup was made in USA. The engine in transmission were made in Japan. The truck came with (and still has) an AC Delco radiator, it also had an AC Delco battery when new.
