it's all my the signature and lovin it. i think i'm going to slap my 60mm supra tb back on just for fun. i just had my exhaust done by Nameless Performance out in LaCenter WA. OMFG it's gorgeous and sounds exceptional. they said mine was the first truck they have done. these guys aren't a muffler shop, they are a performance shop and everything is TIG welded. you wouldn't believe it.

www.car-part.com some of the ads will even have the part# so you can confirm it's the right one. I forgot what that # is,but I'm sure you can find it.

yes of course, even the oversized valve engnbldr.com head will work for the auto transmission too. I wont tell you that I've checked manifold vaccuum on my combo with the 430" cam choice though. I've gone about as radical with everything as a street 22RE can possibly be taken within reason for the engines operating range and I experience no vaccuum issues at all. Tuning the lump out of the cam by adjustment of the air fuel mixture proves to be quick and easy if you are able to run a header and the Supra air meter too..I would think the oversized TB helps some too. Having this engnbldr 430" cam with all stock intake, cylinder head and exaust parts restricting air in and out might make for a bit of work but if thats the case just opt for the 425" cam with less duration and tune the stock air meter,,,really straight forward easy to get tuned setup.

I have the EB RV street head with the 270 cam,LCE big throttle bore,LCE cam gear,Supra AFM,
LCE headers 2 1/4 exhaust,.020 over pistons from EB rebuild kit,and running 4:56 gears with 31x 10.5 General grabbers.
I get 19 to 23.5 mpg and its a daily driver.

i've got an oversized valve ported head, 268 engnbldr cam, weber 38, and DUI. Really like the cam. Still get 20mpg on 5.29s and 35s. Cruise at about 70-75mph. It does open up at higher revs but of course you still have the torque down low. Pulls hard 3000-5000 rpm. I also have 2.5" from header back running through a straight-thru magnaflow muffler and a 3 chamber muffer out back.

I just rebuilt my 1989 N/A 22r 2wd with the street rv head and 268 cam. Added some new rocker arms from partsdinosaur also.
I'm still breaking it in at this time with 700 miles on it.
I've measured all my gas mileage numbers, but I'm sure my next tanks will be higher as my plug gaps and timing were a bit off.
19mpg - part of tank with blown hg before rebuild
21mpg
18mpg
current tank: new cap/rotor/plugs + tach installed
Keep in mind that these are driving hard (75mph uphill on the freeway, fast acceleration and lotsa cargo) and with me still dialing things in.
I'm convinced the cheapo walker bolt on exhaust is holding me back at higher rpm's 4000-4500 seems to be my ceiling.
I really like the sound when I hit a steep hill and give it some gas, it just powers thru.
I'll be smogging this in california over the summer, ted said it shouldn't be a problem. New cat also.
compression is consistent 175-178psi across all cylinders
