you mean the rectangle plate with the 3" tube sticking out that bolts onto the afm? it came with it. if your's didn't come with it, i think autozone might have something that could possibly fit, maybe. or hit up your junkyard again and find one that will work.
oh, and if i have any recent activity, i'll most likely respond. no problem
great! however, if you plan on doing the battery/intake swap, don't do this. save your money and time. it cost me about $60-ish for the swap, and in retrospect, should not have done this. but it was a good first project, and if it's all you need, go for it!

the reason i said not to do this was it was in reference to the silicone elbow and aluminum pipe. while it does work, and i was happy with it, i ended up doing the swap. i spent time and money on something temporary. if you don't want to do the swap, then i would recommend it. i helped xlaxx out by installing my old set-up in his rig. since i had all the pieces cut with all the hardware, it was 100% bolt-in. he wasn't going to do the swap, and he's happy with just the cold-air set-up. i'm happy with the swap. all preference

First post, so forgive me for the question if its been mentioned before. In your above picture you have a smaller filter on what, if I remember correctly, Toyota calls an "intake silencer" ? I also saw, in your battery/intake swap thread, that you had removed that part. My question is, does it affect anything when you remove that piece ? And do you half to block its connection point off ? I'm doing the mod this weekend & would like to do away with the very same part you removed,

it's part of the pair system, so with my truck having to go through emissions, i let it breath (cleaner burning exhaust). if you don't have emissions, you can remove all those parts you want and block off anything in that system. easy way is to just block off that hose at the source with a cap, suggested is an egr block plate set.
the intake silencer is almost necessary if you leave the system intact; it's really annoying without it.
