youre sure the power is getting to the other side of the essential relays and fuses ? not power in but the power out ? is it possible to hot-wire this ? around the sensors ?

Check Engine Light
The problem was a defective mass air flow gizmo!!!!!
When I disconnected it, the CEL would come on now when you turned on the ignition.
A junk yard replacement works fine.
Must be shorted inside
