I got CEL and the engine ran like crap in wet weather because my computer was getting wet. After a 200 mile drive in heavy rain I could barely keep the truck running and got numerous different codes. I had a leak in the windshield and the water ran down the side of the dash onto the top of the computer in the passenger side kick panel. I used some silicone around the windshield, let the computer dry out, and sealed the computer (just in case) and it was fine ever since.

check you plug wires, they could be old and absorbing moisture.
also check you distro cap and rotor, mine were old and when it was wet out my truck was running horribly, i replaced them, sealed the distro with black rtv, and the problem went away 100percent

But, did that cause the CEL to illuminate ?
