A/C conversion R12 to 134a help
#21
i payed $32 for the retrofit kit(all a/c o-rings, ester 1oo, and new ports with caps).
$17 for 12oz of a/c flush, so about $49 dollars while learning how to fix/maintain my a/c system as i service it. I'm kinda the cheap one in the family, but still work for quality. Plus the shops around here charge around $80, unless i drive all the way to el centro.

Heh! I lived in Yuma nearly 30 years. El Centro is only an hour or so away. I used to ride my motorcycle over there on weekends to watch the Blue Angels practise. I had a couple acres across the fields from Britains Farmhouse restaurant. I understand they're closed now. They had good food.
I worked at MCAS for about 1/2 my time down there, and then the Aerostat Site for the rest. Long ride out to work!
Anywho, just thoughtt it was kinda nifty to see someone else who's in Yuma. I feel for ya, believe me!
Good luck to ya!
