Honestly, I had Bosch Platinum +4's in my pickup for about 10 years, 200K miles, and they worked great. Then, essentially, they ran out of electrodes. They wound a Platinum +1/2's. That's one halfs, not 1 to 2's. I tried them in the 4Runner, no, not the ones out of the pickup, I'm not quite THAT dense, but only got 100K out of them. I did drive the 4Runner a lot less, though. Same amount of time, but lot less mileage. I had a 100 mile round trip to/from work, and I drove the pickup most of the time. Only drove the 4Runner in bad weather, and being Yuma, Az (look it up), bad weather was very far between.

Anywho, I went back to the NGK's for the 4Runner, and it's back to normal. OEM plug wires too, after I opened the hood one night, and saw the loveliest light show all over the existent wires. Looked nifty as heck, but told me all that power wasn't going to the plugs. NOT a good thing. Really, it's not. Darker the better. No plug wire light shows allowed. Now I check the wires in both trucks about once a year for pretty lightning on them. I see it, I order new OEM wires from Rock Auto.

The pickup is running on those E3 plugs that are fairly new, and they seem to work as advertised. Plenty of power, great mileage. About 25 MPG in the pickup. The 4Runner gets about 19 on the NGK's, but I am pretty sure the O2 sensor is starting to go bad. I'll replace it pretty soon.

Have fun!
