just shy of 3,000 miles since the May 20th start-up and all is well. oil leak from the back of the pan continues at a snails pace and really no big deal. someday when i run out of things to do and things to throw money at, i will take the pan off and re-seal it. for now, i will be OK.

Looks awesome very nice and organized.
I have a question the 3 sensors that are on the silver plate on top of the valve cover as pictured the Grey, Brown and Green.
What are these?? When I adjusted my valves, Two of the wires broke right off they were so brittle. It hasn't affected the way the truck runs so I haven't done anything with them.

Oh, btw, you'll want to fix the one for the fuel pressure up valve. That'll be important, if that's one that broke. Well, the EGR would be, too. Hell, just fix'em.

What? New VSV's or wires? If it's just the wires broken, why replace the valves? Just splice them or something. They're not sensors or high voltage, so they really don't even need to be soldered.
If you never use a/c, then there's no point in even having the VSV on there for it. It's only an effective valve cover ornament or grease and grime depository........depending on your mood and subsequent viewpoint. Just pull it off, wrap the wires/connector back, tape it up, whatever, and cap off the ports.

Without having any verbal qualification to accompany that reply, one could easily assume you mean to volunteer for spanking my derriere. (It's the raising of the smarmy dudes little hand there, bubba!) I can assure you that will never happen in this lifetime, xxxtreme. Not unless you have appendages of a roundish nature exuding from your chest and an "innie" where it counts. Of course, if you bought me some new spindle bushings, I might reconsider.
