Awesome Hilux Part Diagram

Any of you looking for parts know how awful the North American/Dealership parts catalog can be for fine parts/complex systems (sunroof as case in point)...

I just found this awesome, high res parts catalog imaging -- for Europe, but many if not most will be the same parts/parts number:

Here's a 94 Hilux pickup parts diagrams: http://www.japan-parts.eu/toyota/eu/...ol-engine-fuel

You can actually see the pictures rather than half guessing like in NA dealer screens/catalogs....

Also, they offer several land cruiser and hilux diagrams, you just have to wade through them to find one close to your model: http://www.japan-parts.eu/toyota

Much prefer that one part names are invaluable. And I didn't find any "high resolution photos" on that other site. Diagrams with pictures would be soo handy!

For any complex part diagram with a lot of small parts, I found it great to have pictures that are at least 25% greater than anything I've found thus far. With part numbers, I'm able to pull up parts from several online discounters -- the key is to google both the entire part number string and if a dash, google the two numbers separately too, to find part/best price.

Take the cooling unit for instance:
Europe
http://www.japan-parts.eu/toyota/eu/...ng-cooler-unit
VS
American
http://www.toyotapartsoverstock.com/...rimLevel=18380

At the dealership, with my sunroof and trying to find the c clips, they basically ordered half the parts b/c their part diagrams were such low resolution they couldn't see what most of the small parts were... And none of what they ordered were the c clips as they don't appear to be listed in the pickup parts diagram... Perhaps playing in the margins, but good when your eyes aren't cooperating.

Whoops, forgot to add that the utoyot8.com diagrams match the one I posted, and are great. Thank you. I bookmarked them.

The local dealerships diagrams are low res equivalent to toyota parts overstock ones... Anything small, you have to know exact name or part number for what you're looking for as the picture alone won't always locate now.

Here's their website for the same HVAC parts fiche you posted.

Next to the "Selected Parts Listing" is a button marked and that brings up the parts fiche.

I've seen them all...and the best IMO...is still the pre-96 North America Toyota/Lexus Dealership EPC(Electronic Parts Catalog). Which covers ALL the parts for ALL Toyota vehicles manufactured, and/or sold in NA, prior to 1996.

You can download a copy of it from here.

Then you only need to install it...CORRECTLY. READ THE FAQ THOROUGHLY!

Then you'll have permanent access to more Toyota part diagrams than you could ever possibly need/want. NO INTERNET REQUIRED.
