Thanks for the reply Highonpottery. You make some great points there , but I have decided on the 37s for piece of mind (in deep snow) and plus 37s just looks darn b@dazz to be honest. I have a 4-5 inch Rough Country suspension lift, and 3 inch body lift which is waiting for install before the tires go on. Thanks again for your reply.

It all depends on the type of snow are you breaking a trail .

Or driving on hard snow pack that was like my driveway most of the winter

Then of course temperature plays a big part the colder the better the traction.

It all comes down to what your use is I run all 235/75 /15 tires on all my Toyota 4x4`s Because they work for me.

Being able to mix and match tires across 8 or 9 vehicles makes it nice.

i think you should not just be worried about the tire size for the truck but that size while pushing all that snow.
i'd go with 33's pr 35's, chains, and lockers. if the snow is that craycray, just go with mattracks.

Yes Sir, same size tires but more lift. I was deciding on 37" Toyo Open Country MT tires at first, but then I heard they are not particularly the best suited for snow and wet roads and ice so I discovered the TrXus tire which I read is a beast in the snow/ice/wet conditions.

I have viewed videos of trucks with those tracks attached before. That is really interesting to watch, so thanks for that video. I do plan for snow even deeper than that. Thanks.

If I were to run 37s on my truck I'd run a total chaos idler arm and a heim-steering upgrade. Changing parts in the snow sucks!

Just out of curiosity, where do you live that you need 37" tires to deal with snow? Are you off the road system somewhere?

At current time I live down in the South (in Texas) where there surely isnt much worry for snow, but I am soon moving back up to the North and will be located deep out into the country in an area that gets much snow and where I may have to make some of my own roads.

So as a result it will be 37's I decide on especially now since based on the replies here, it seems absolutely do-able like I was hoping to read. Thanks.

Thanks for that advise. After the tires (and lift) go on, I am going to consider replacing front end parts with heavier duty pieces. I am thinking idler arm, steering upgrades, and CV joints/axles replacements. Since I wont be rough on it, I guess I can get by for awhile on stock parts. Thanks.
